Keychange is a movement that represents the under-represented.
Supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, the Keychange Participant Programme takes action to empower talented underrepresented genders with training, mentoring, and network support plus conferences and showcasing opportunities at partner festivals.
Our global movement is diversifying and reshaping the music industry to create a more sustainable and stronger community for all genders.
As an industry, we lose talent every day and this needs to be urgently addressed.
Check in to the Keychange Mighty Network regularly for updates, information, and to keep up to date with your fellow Participants.
Keychange exists through a strong collaboration between amazing partners: Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, PRS Foundation in the UK, Musikcentrum Öst in Sweden, Tallinn Music Week (Estonia), Iceland Airwaves (Iceland), BIME (Spain), Oslo World (Norway), Linecheck/Music Innovation Hub (Italy), Ireland Music Week (Ireland), SACEM (France), Liverpool Sound City (UK), Way Out West (Sweden), MAMA (France), Inne Brzmienia | Different Sounds (Poland), Mutek (Canada), and Breakout West (Canada).
We are very grateful to the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. Additionally, we receive generous support from a number of sponsors and content partners — FACTOR, GEMA, Gorwelion Horizons, IMRO, Italia Music Lab, Musicians’ Union, Norsk Tipping, Roskilde Festival, SOCAN Foundation, Songtrust, SoundCloud, STEF, Stim, Foundation SGAE, Talent Norge, and Ted Baker.
